Sublimation Printing – A Durable and Vivid Textile Printing Method

Sublimation printing is a technique that transfers special inks onto synthetic fabrics and coated surfaces. Ensures deep, vibrant colors resistant to fading and environmental conditions. Used for sportswear, textile decorations, and personalized promotional items. Ideal for customizing mugs, plates, phone cases, and other coated surfaces.
Advantages of Sublimation Printing:

  • Highly resistant to fading and abrasion.
  • Deep, vibrant colors that retain their quality.
  • The print withstands multiple washes without deterioration.
  • Suitable for both small and large production runs, starting from a single piece.
  • The design is embedded into the fabric, remaining breathable and soft to the touch.
Limitations of Sublimation Printing:

  • Full-color accuracy is achievable only on white materials.
  • The fabric must contain at least 65% synthetic fibers for optimal print results.
  • Lower polyester content results in less vivid and less precise color reproduction.

  • The design is then transferred onto fabric using a calendar heat press or a flat press.
  • Under high temperature, the ink turns into gas, skipping the liquid phase.

    • How to Care for Sublimation Prints?

    • Wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C.
    • Turn inside out before ironing and drying.
    • Use minimal spin speed during washing.
    • Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
